Tracey Terrio, DVM

She held a love of animals since an early age, and a career in veterinary medicine allows Dr. Terrio to combine her interest in science and medicine with her love of animals and passion in caring for them. She finds joy in helping people and their pets.

Dr. Terrio attended Augsburg College and received Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Biology in 1987. She continued her education at the University of Minnesota’s College of Veterinary Medicine receiving a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Science and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1991.

Dr. Terrio and her husband, Paul, have two children. She also shares her home with three dogs, Tootsie, Tipper, and Garcia; and two cats, Hermie and Saturn.

Rebecca Nosan, DVM

Blaine MN VeterinariansDr. Rebecca Nosan enjoys being a general practitioner, which allows her to work with pets and their families. She believes preventative medicine is very important and enjoys working with pet owners to keep their canine and feline family members healthy. She also enjoys educating people about their pets' health and care, performing surgeries and working with animals in all life stages.

Dr. Nosan attended the University of Minnesota from 1995 to 2003. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Medicine in 2001 after four years of undergraduate work and two years of veterinary school. Her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine was granted in 2003.

Dr. Nosan lives in Blaine with her husband and three kitties. She enjoys camping, hiking, biking and travel with her husband. She likes making things; especially dinners, baked goods, knit items and other arts and crafts projects. Dr. Nosan also enjoys in-line skating, yoga and ballroom and Latin dancing.

Kathy Burma, DVM

Animal Hospital Minneapolis AreaDr. Kathy Burma is a General Practitioner who has been with Murray Animal Hospital since 2011.

A native of Pine City, Minnesota, Dr. Burma says that she grew up in a rural area and loved all animals. “I started with a cat when I was 3-years-old and my menagerie of animals slowly grew to include dogs, rabbits, sheep, goats, birds, snakes, pigs, horses and cattle.”

Now that she is a veterinarian, Dr. Burma says she enjoys the variety of animals and care she is able to provide each day. “From helping new owners learn what to expect with their puppy or kitten to diagnosing and performing routine surgeries to bringing a new puppy or kitten into the world, I find it all rewarding and enjoyable,” she says.

For her undergraduate studies Dr. Burma attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 1999. She then enrolled in the University of Minnesota’s College of Veterinary Medicine where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Her area of special professional interest is soft tissue surgery and she is a member of the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association.

At home, Dr. Burma has three horses, two hunting dogs and one cat. Her interests include hiking, camping, hunting, horseback riding, training hunting dogs and training horses.
