Our Team

Dr. Tracey Terrio held a love of animals since an early age. A career in veterinary medicine allows her to combine her love of science and medicine with her love of animals. She has a passion for caring for them and finds joy in helping people and their pets.

Dr. Terrio has degrees in Chemistry and Biology from Augsburg College. She then attended the University of Minnesota and received a BS in Animal Science and then her DVM degree in 1991.

Dr. Terrio's interests are in general medicine/ surgery, internal medicine, preventative care and especially dentistry.

Her family includes her husband (Paul) ,and 2 daughters. Her animal family includes, a Duck Tolling Retriever (Jacobi), Red Tick Australian Cattle Dog (Harper), and a Chihuahua (Garcia).

In her free time she enjoys gardening, travel and spending time with her family.

Dr. Taft graduated from the University of MN Veterinary Medical School in 2001. Since graduation she has practiced small animal medicine and also worked as a staff veterinarian for the Roatan Institute of Marine Sciences in Honduras.

During her free time Dr Taft enjoys travelling, SCUBA diving, and spending time with her family, including her Shih Tzu Stewart.

Dr. Boothe graduated from Oklahoma State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 and immediately moved to Minnesota. After a few years, she followed family out west and eventually wound up living in the area of Portland, Oregon for almost 20 years because it reminded her so much of the Twin Cities area ("with rain instead of snow"). She has returned to her Midwestern roots and joined Murray Animal Hospital in January of 2022. She especially enjoys preventive care, including helping to instil good behaviors from the beginning to help our pets have long and wonderful lives with their families.

In her free time, she enjoys competing in agility with her terrier mixes, Mokus and lso. She also enjoys working with yarn, reading, drawing/painting (but only aspires to the third grade level in her art).
